I got into dungeon synth a year or so ago by the now traditional method of having youtube suggest it when I was listening to something else (moody autumn soundscape videos, now regrettably eaten up by procgen garbage). As much as I like dungeon synth, I have a hard time talking about it. Click and preview to see if you're into it. I'll say the Wizards of Aldur album is a concept album based on the novel of the same name by Dunsany, which is very exciting. I've enjoyed the artist's work adapting the Belgariad novels even though I don't like those novels very much.
Wussy I think I learned about from listening to a Christmas marathon radio show out of Chicago, which is funny because they're local to where I live. I have their latest LP and a few EPs so I wanted to go ahead and get some back catalog going.
Peelander-Z I saw when I went to Nashville, back in school, to see Anamanaguchi live. They kick ass -- off the wall rock from a group dressed as sentai characters. They bowled through the audience with a person in a felt squid costume at one point. Their music is canned happy juice, check it out.
